Pavers? Bricks? Flagstones? How big should the fire ring be? So much research needed to be done to get the right patio and fire ring and everything within the budget. The temperature was now in the 100's and with Greg's hand still in recovery, I had only a few hours each morning to work on the patio and fire ring.
So, I ordered 3 yards of the 3/4 crushed gravel and 1 yard of white washed sand. Unfortunately, they only delivered the materials to the drive way so with the help of mom, dad, Jason, and Jared (with his little hand shovel), we had to move the materials to the back yard so we can still access our driveway.
One of the local gardeners had stopped in front of our house, wondering if we were "new" family-operated landscape contractors in the neighborhood-too funny!
