Finally home!!

We knew travelling back to Sacramento from Seattle was going to be a HUGE challenge. We had changed our standby flight from the night before from 7:00 am to 10:00 am because we knew we may potentially have to hang out in Salt Lake City for the day. So our travel day started at 8 am. We were able to board the flight from Seattle to Salt Lake City, which got us there around 1:00 pm (mountain time). Then the fun began..2:55 pm flight came and gone, so we waited around again for the 4:40 pm flight even though it was "over-sold". We had no choice since the next flight, the last flight wasn't leaving until 9:20 pm! So, we were able to fly out on the last flight, but no one can tell us if our luggage had ever left Seattle or if it was going to make it back to Sacramento. 15 hours since we left our hotel in Seattle, we were back in our home in Sacramento with our luggage in hand. So you ask, was this all worth it..heck yeah!!
