Stanley Park, North Vancouver

"This is a park? It's huge!!" cried the boys. Similar to the local Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, Stanley Park had it all, but 5x larger. It was 80 degrees and perfect for the beach. The kids looked for sand crabs, dugged trenches and dipped their feet in the not-so-cold ocean. We wanted to rent bikes to take advantage of the endless bike trails but there wasn't a rental inside the park. There was "order", even inside the park where pedestrians walk on one sidewalk and bikers, roller bladers, skateboarders travel on the sidewalk that designated just for them and separated by elevation. Those clever Canadians!
